Important Great Valley Bookfest 2020 Update

Every year, we look forward to the annual Great Valley Bookfest in October. We love, love, love connecting with our Bookfest fans and sharing our love of books!

However, given the uncertainty and health concerns around COVID-19 and large public events, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone Bookfest 2020 to October 9, 2021.

This was an incredibly tough call to make – we love celebrating literacy and demonstrating the fun of reading. But nothing is more important than the health and safety of our event attendees, authors, sponsors and volunteers.

We remained committed to our annual Bookmark Contest and hope we continue to receive entries.  BTW – in case you missed it – we extended the deadline to May 31. We will announce the winning artists in June and cannot wait to reveal their designs!  The winning bookmarks will be part of our 2021 event.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this postponement causes but we look forward to welcoming you in 2021.
