Born and raised in Manteca, California, Chris Teicheira is a touring comedian on the rise. He has performed at venerated comedy institutions including the San Francisco and Sacramento Punchlines, Laughs Unlimited in Sacramento and Tommy T’s in Pleasanton. Teicheira also pens a regular newspaper column: “Manteca to a T,” for his hometown paper, the Manteca Bulletin. In this weekly journal, Teicheira keeps in the tradition of the late local gadfly and raconteur, Patrick O’Leary. He manages to simultaneously maintain local lore, express and encourage local pride, but foremost of, make mischief!
